I've got the joy, down in my heart





Oh, how blessed I am! I have just come back from my third trip to Fiji - visiting the same schools we taught art in the previous years. So wonderful to see those happy faces again and build on those special relationships with children and adults alike.


This year we taught art around the theme of "fruits of the spirit'' which included those gifts like love, peace, joy and patience, all of which the Fijian people display so abundantly. The time spent, learning from their culture was precious and I have come away with a deep sense of joy at having spent time with them. I am once again reminded to live in the moment, to enjoy each new day and to slow down.
